Why Blog?

Two weeks ago I learned to make my own version of Chicken Florentine from scratch with Chef James' help, of course. Yesterday in the middle of this awful, snow, dreadful, historical event I learned how to pan fry up some delicious Eggplant Parmesan. And tonight it dawned on me after Chef James made his own meal for us: pork chops (not your mom's pork chops), huge deliciously seasoned and perfectly cooked with a creamy butter sauce (the name's I am not good at, yet), accompanied with creamy cheddar mashed potatoes and freshly steamed broccoli (are you drooling yet?), that I should document my lessons learned.

If I had access to a professional, award winning chef I might as well soak up some of the knowledge while I can. Then it dawned on me three meals in, that I should at least write up what I have learned so I do not forget. And I decided a blog...since I am three lessons in...I will sum it up in my next post.

Quick background information: I am not a professional writer, nor a grammar extraordinaire. Forgive me you English loving fa-gram-natics (new word, see).

Delicious!
